My Daughter is Better Than Yours is a story of friendships and families as well as a fun activity to fill up the long winter weekends. 

 

Completely inspired by her 7-year-old daughter, Suzanne, Stephanie Veuriot wished to transform the small multicoloured-painted plaster objects in earrings. Joined in this project by Celine Exbrayat and her daughter, Billie, who is also 7 years old, they began trying to reproduce Suzanne’s creations in light enough materials in order to be worn as earrings. 

 

Using their kitchen as laboratory, they experiment with different materials as well as research of different techniques and colors while also counting with the input and participating of their daughters throughout the entire creative process. Altogether, they work with materials such as plaster, silicone, glue, expansive foam, resin and paint to give life to the different shapes of multicolored earrings. 

 

All individual pieces and pairs are handmade and unique.
